The Hopscotch Film process is simple and fun with a magical end result! Prior to your departure, an initial meeting is scheduled for a quick filmmaking lesson to ensure you feel perfectly comfortable using one of our super8 cameras. (Don’t worry! These cameras were considered “handy” during the 1970s and are very user-friendly.)
Then you pack the super8, the provided film and filmmaking guide in your carry-on and enjoy your vacation! Document your favorite experiences with the super8: shoot the views, the beautiful spaces, the quiet moments, the laughter, the sunsets, the sunrises, the sandy toes, the dirt smudged cheeks. Even the well-traveled, sleepy smiles will create a beautiful keepsake film.
Post-vacay, your film is sent off to West Hollywood for processing at one of the last labs in the country that develops vintage film.
